Ancient Biscuit Sold For £1,250 !

Here's an interesting story I bet you didn't expect to hear...

A 104 year old biscuit was taken on an expedition by a famous explorer, has been sold for a spectacular £1,250! The snack was one of many other supplies that were taken on Ernest Shackleton's ship, in an expedition to the Antarctic in 1907. This ordinary biscuit was found perfectly preserved in a hut where Shackleton was based during the expedition. I bet you would of thought that the biscuits tasted HORRID after all them years... However, the crew on the expedition ate the biscuits to keep their hunger at bay. Also for them to survive the rest of their exciting trip as well. So the snacks couldn't of tasted all that bad!

About 10 years ago, biscuit crumbs from yet another of Shackleton's expedition's were sold for an amazing amount of £7,637! This is the highest price that has been paid for a biscuit at an auction.
This goes to show what you can get out of an item that has been left abandoned for a while!

Google+, a threat to facebook?

As google release their own social jetworking website to the public, are facebook biting their nails in anticipation of whether the fans will still put money in Mark Zukerberg's pocket leave him scrambling for words like bebo.
        Google+ is a simple and easy to use network that lets ou chat with friends and keep up with the latest social updates, just as facebook has been doing for the last 5 years or so, however, google+ is eager to grow and make it's mark whilst Facebook are constantly changing much to the annoyance of the followers. Are we ready to desert Facebook and join a new league of young webpage designers? Has Facebook had it's time? Above all is this just a mere cycle, when a new site comes along will we join them and leave Google+ floundering?
