Bored? Maybe these videos will brighten your day...

There be more soon! Hope you laughed! :)

Super Grandad!

It’s a nice sunny day, you’re out doing your gardening and your dog is running around chasing it’s tail. But just as you place your pansies in the soil the panting of your playful pup stops. You turn around and an Alligator is in your garden walking towards your somewhat quieter dog. Well this is what happened to 66 year old American grandad and his dog Bounce.
The Hero and the Dog!
Mr Gufaston was gardening when a ferocious Alligator attacked his dog! He said to an American news team 'She yelped and as I turned round the gator had her in it's mouth and was dragging her far out.' He saw his dog moving into the water so he ran down the little hill in his back garden and took a flying leap which landed him flat on the Alligators back!

He said 'Wwere all under water, I grabbed his jaw and pinned it shut.' The good news is that Bounce was finally rescued and the Alligator was captured by wardens later on.

Gun Man Is Charged For Murder!

A man charged for the murders of a father and son earlier in the year and the murder of two women police officers which we are told that both murders are in some way linked. PC Fiona Bone and her colleague PC Nicola Hughes suffered fatal injuries in a gun and grenade attack in Manchester, on Tuesday. One of the police officers involved in the attack died at the scene because of the injuries she had sustained and the other police officer died later in hospital due to her injuries.

The man accused of all four murders is Dale Cregan. On Friday (21st September) morning he appeared at Manchester's Magistrates' court. Despite the fact of Cregan's arrest the police are still asking for anyone with anymore information to please come forward. Chief Constable of Greater Manchester police, Sir Peter Fahy said :"The fact that we have charged someone does not mean this investigation is complete."
Tributes have been pouring in for the two women and on Thursday flowers were laid by Sir Peter Fahy at the scene  where the officers were fatally injured. More than 25,000 people have also left condolence messages on the Greater Manchester police website.

It is also said that he has not just been charged of the murders of two women police officers, a father and son but he has also been charged for four other attemped murders! R.I.P.

A Ride Left Riders Dangling 90 Meters In The Air!

IF YOU ARE SCARED OF HEIGHTS, I ADVISE YOU TO LOOK AWAY NOW!

Not long ago, a fairground in America was shaken with fear as 20 riders were left dangling at 90 meters high after the security system activated unexpectedly on the ride. A very long way up indeed!

It was a normal day in America down at the fairground; nothing had gone wrong... YET! One day down at a fair in America, 20 thrill-seekers all got fastened up onto a ride called ‘The Windseeker’. The Windseeker is a VERY high ride that takes you 90 meters into mid-air. At the very top of the ride is where you get the most terrific view of the whole park and more areas around it as well. While you are enjoying the magnificent views, you are also spinning in a circle as well to add to the excitement of the ride!  So this is why they advise people who are scared of heights not to go on this ride.

The 20 riders all got buckled in and the ride began, everything was fine until they neared the peak of the ride. At the top! When they did get near the top, the ride all of a sudden came to an unexpected halt when the security system was suspected to have activated during the ride.

Workers and staff thought that this minor break down was something small and would be fixed within minutes. However this was not the case as this turned out to be quite a problem. By the end of the eventful day, the riders had been dangling 90 meters up in the air for a whopping 4 hours! Thankfully they all were eventually brought down safely just before 8pm by workers at the park, a long time after the park had closed!
Check out this clip of what happened on that very eventful day...

Gangnam Crazy

Gangnam Style is getting into the charts all over the world, even in the UK. This could be the first K-Pop (Korean Pop) to hit number one in the UK chart.

Since its release it has been clicked on more than 220 million times, and every day it has racked up more than 10 million views each day. This comical, colourful and over-the-top video is a must see! Psy debuts his now internationally famous, “horse riding dance”, and everyone has started to use this awesome, comical dance move.

Back at home in Korea, 34-year old Psy, is already a well-known artist with 6 albums to his name. Whilst no-one in the world (except for Korea) knew him before he was already singing for 12 years. This song is supposed to poke fun at a fashionable district in Seoul – Gangnam. When it was released, it topped the Korean charts almost instantly. It then topped the charts in Finland, Latvia and Malaysia. His sights are now firmly set on number 1 in America and the UK. Hopefully this song will top the chart here, so watch out!

Apple's New Map App Row

Apple recently brought out their new software for mobile devices such as the iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. However they broke their deal with Google, getting rid of the Google Maps and YouTube apps.

Many people aren't bothered about the YouTube app because they can just download the official app off the App Store. But Apples new map app has provoked anger from users.

There has been many complaints that the maps app is inaccurate and some of the towns have been misplaced.

For this app Apple teamed up with TomTom but they claimed to have nothing to do with the inaccuracies of the app. They have also removed the street view settings which most users enjoyed but now there's nothing.

Apple are yet to comment on these inaccuracies and the anger against them from customers. However there is nothing that customers who've upgraded or bought the new products to do, as they can't go back.

There's no google maps app yet but it is soon expected. You can still get to Google Maps via the devices browser.

Jack Sparrow Wannabe Hijacker

A woman who was high on drink and drugs, stole a passenger ferry and crashed into boats shouting "I'm Jack Sparrow!". Alison Whelan, 51, was crazy when she climbed onto the docked 100-seater Dart Princess in Dartmouth Devon. She was so drunk she even called 999 and officers raced to the scene. However she had already started driving the ferry away. The boat hit other vessels sailing "like a pinball machine". After 1 hour, she was stopped by lifeboats and towed Whelan and her accomplice back to shore. Alison Whelan pleaded guilty and was jailed for 122 days, she caused about £1,500 damage to the ferry itself, and about £300 to a docked Tomcat. Before the hijacking, she was drinking Lambrini and eating poisonous hallucinogenic plants and she then decided to go to a ferry.

The Two Faced Cat!

A cat named Venus is a two faced cat which is the most famous feline in the world.

The three year old cat has a black face on one side with a green eye and on the other it is ginger with a blue eye. But the body is ginger with black stripes.

Some people would think that the cat has two different brains because it looks like that and others would think that the owner of the cat painted the cats face half black but its just how that cat was born.

Snail Stoppage

UK Border Force officers have seized 36 live giant African land snails from a Nigerian man at Glasgow Airport. This man claimed that they would be used for food back in the UK after he was on a flight from Amsterdam. The molluscs were confiscated and passed to a helpful rescue organisation. I don't know what they would do with them! These snails average at about 15cm in length and the shells are about the size of a human fist. They say these snails could have passed UK snails a lethal disease if they were to be released. He was also in breach of the control of imported animals.

These are the giant African land snails that have been confiscated

A Snap Into The Future

Astronomers from the UK, US, Spain, Brazil and Germany have put together a 570 million pixel camera and it took it's first picture on the 12th of September; which focused on the Fornax Galaxy cluster.

The purpose of this truly big camera, the size of a telephone box, is to take pictures of many galaxy clusters and to discover the nature of dark energy. Dark energy is the thing which makes up 70% of our Universe and makes it expand faster, as you may know it's quite big already. Furthermore, it will hopefully picture up to 4,000 supernovae, which are dying stars, and help us understand what space is really made of. It is capable of detecting objects as far as eight billion light years away. The DECam has been placed in the Atacama desert in Chile. It has been named the worlds most powerful camera because of it's high sensitivity and ginormous resolution. This is a very exciting opportunity to look deeper into outer space and learn more about it, much, much more. Who knows what it may reveal?

Car Crashes into a Couple's Bedroom

In Epsom, Surrey an out of control car crashed into a sleeping couples upstairs bedroom! You're probably wondering how it got to the upstairs. Well this car came round a corner at an extremely fast speed, mounted a parked car and flew 80ft in the air and smashed straight into the building.

The house after the accident, in Surrey
Debris was blasted across the couples bedroom and en-suite bathroom as the car left a gaping hole in the side of their house.

Many cars and things like post-boxes and road signs were ruined during the crash. But unbelievably the couple was not hurt and the two men who were driving the car are being treated with minor injuries at the local hospital.

One of the couples neighbours said: "It sounded like a plane coming out the sky. I think the car flew about 80ft before it came to rest in the side of the house."

Brought To A Lethal Trap...

PC Fiona Bone, 32, and PC Nicola Hughes, 23, were killed in a shocking gun and grenade attack after being lured into a lethal trap.

A minute's silence was held in honour of the two women at Greater Manchester Police HQ at 11am this morning.
The family of Nicola Hughes said that the brave copper "died doing the job she loved".
In a statement, her mother Susan, father Bryn and younger brother Sam, said: “Nicola was our only daughter and a beautiful child. She was always happy with life and lived for her family.

“Nicola always wanted to make a difference and, in doing so, she made such a big difference to everyone she knew. She cared about everyone and especially her colleagues.
“Nicola was only 23 years old and had the whole of her life in front of her"

Do you think this is right?

Missing Mountain Flyer Finally Found!

A missing mountain flyer from London, who was missing in the Swiss Alps has been found alive!

Dan Hunt, 33, went speed flying when he was reported missing on Saturday afternoon. He was believed to only have water and a few snacks with him. He was meant to arrive four minutes behind his partner at an allocated landing spot, but he didn't turn up.

Typical speed flying, is when you attach a small wing to yourself and fly down a steep slope. You can reach speeds up to 75MPH!

He was later found today (Tuesday) after crying for help in a forested area. However he is not believed to be injured.

Just under £14,000 was raised on a Facebook campaign to help find him. This helped a lot to carry out the search , which was successful!

This was the top of the run and he was believed to be found somewhere near the bottom

The Houses Of Parliament To SHUT!?

The Houses of Parliament has a chance of closure for 5 whole years after having troubles with leaky ceilings, crumbling walls and even rats!

Parts of Westminster Palace were first built in 1840. Throughout the Houses of Parliament, some areas are in need of a mega makeover while other areas are full of building problems! The MP’s are now searching for a possible solution.

There have been many debates about what to do in this tricky situation. But 2 possible solutions have been said. The first idea would involve MPs moving out of the Houses of Parliament for a very long 5 years while builders get to work revamping the place as quickly as possible. The second idea is that the MPs stay in the Parliament while the builders work around them. However this project would mean them taking around 20 years on the project all together while the other project would only take 5 years! A very long time indeed!

Some people believe that moving the MPs out for 5 years would be a better idea because it would save about £5 billion. Commons Speaker John Bercow has told reporters last weekend that the Parliament was “structurally sound” for now. Nadine Dorries said she wants to stay where she is and does not want to move out. “The rodents are a problem though,” she admitted.

What do you think? Do you think Parliament should shut down for 5 years or do you think the MPs should stay where they are but have the builders work around them that takes around 20 years to complete? Post your thoughts below...

The World’s First Lion-Tiger Cub Has Been Born!

I’m sure we all know what a lion and a tiger looks like. But have you ever wondered what a half lion and half tiger animal looks like? If you are, then you’re in luck! The very first lion-tiger cub has been born!
A brand new type of animal has just been introduced to the world in Russia. The new animal is called a Liliger.

The new cub’s dad is an African lion, however how this cub has turned out to be half lion half tiger is because its mum is a liger. A liger is a cross between a lion and a tiger, which makes her the world’s first known “liliger.” This new cub has now been named Kiara and she was born by her mum in a zoo.

A zoo worker called Rostislav said: “I think she has more tiger traits than lion traits.”

What would naturally occur now is that the cub would stay with her mother for a while to feed, however this is not the case because Kiara's mother sadly could not provide enough milk for her so she now has to be raised by an ordinary domestic cat to feed the hungry cub. Kiara is fed milk by her zoo keepers every three hours to keep her belly full of milk, and she receives some motherly love from the domestic cat that also looks after Kiara as well.

Motorola Reveals A New Smartphone!

The Razr I is the new smartphone from Motorola! With an edge-to-edge screen and a 2GHZ processor it hopes to beat the new iPhone 5 and Galaxy S3 in its sales.

The new Android and Intel based smartphone features a 4.3-inch HD display (bigger than the iPhone 5) built with 'Gorilla Glass.' Also this brand new smart phone has a 8 megapixel camera which takes 'stunning' HD videos. It is also claimed to have 40% better battery life than the iPhone 4s.

It was launched in London today and is claimed to be the first smartphone with a 2GHz processor. Despite the fact
they have teamed up with Google to make this smartphone, Google Chrome is apparently not installed on it.

Eric Reid said "You can be ready to take a picture in less than 1 second, which is about twice as fast as the other products on the market"

Over the next few years Mr Wicks confirmed that customers can expect further other Motorola Intel-based handsets!

Dieting Elephants?

In some parts of India, elephants are kept in temples for very religious reasons and to take part in ceremonies and festivals. However these elephants are getting over-pampered so they are getting fatter and fatter until they are obese. Now authorities in India are forced to manage the weight of these obese elephants.
Over-pampered temple elephants are put on diets

Now all temple officials are changing the elephants diet on the advice of veterinary surgeons. One female temple elephant, 15 year-old Parvathi, is overweight by 500kg. Another elephant in the Kallazagar Temple weighs 700kg, which is more than the optimum for its age. The elephants eat up to 200 different varieties of food in the wild but in captivity,in the temple, their diets often lack of variety. Also experts say that elephants never eat rice, salt, millets in the wild.

The Teenager that might not make adulthood.

Holly Pereira, 19, who has cystic fibrosis, created a three-minute black and white film to aid her cause.
She says: 'There is nothing more I can do but hope that call will come. But sadly I know sometimes it’s too late and the call won’t come on time.'
Holly needs two lungs to save her life. Cystic fibrosis is the UK's most common life threatening inherited disease. It affects the the internal organs, especially the lungs and the digestive system.

Check out her plea here:    http://www.dailymail.co.uk/health/article-2204436/Teenager-live-21st-birthday-makes-YouTube-plea-life-saving-organ-donor.html

Lara Croft Is Back!

Tomb Raider explores the intense and gritty origin story of Lara Croft and her ascent from a frightened young woman to a hardened survivor. Setting out to "make her mark", the ship Lara travels on, the Endurance commanded by Conrad Roth, is hit by a violent storm and split in two.

She and many other survivors are stranded on an isolated tropical island in the Dragon's Triangle. She awakes inside a coastal cave, beside corpses. In the process of escaping, she is wounded, finds one of her fellow travelers dead in a ritualistic pose, and has to fight off a mysterious human figure who is killed as the cave collapses. After escaping, Lara has to find food and water to survive, fighting off the more dangerous animal inhabitants and trying to trace the other survivors. But a darker threat awaits as she is forced to harden herself against killing people in order to fight a group of malevolent mercenaries who seek to kill her and her companions.

Mum of five, brutally attacked in front of disabled daughter.

Mum-of-five Julie, South Wales, said: “When it was happening, I was just thinking,

’What are you doing?’ It just all happened so fast.“Everything went into a bit of a blur.“I’m just so scared to go back to my home now. If they can do that in broad daylight, what else can they do?”

She said after she pulled over, one of the men started slapping her while the other took the keys from the engine and threw them into the car. She said she was punched in the face and head three times during the incident. She was taken to hospital over night and was discharged in the morning. This can happen in anywhere in the world, and you are in danger to be attacked.

This is a stereotypical gang.

GCSEs To Be SCRAPPED!

The Education Secretary, Michael Gove has said that GCSE's are not to be taken by anyone starting their high school career this year, and instead should be replaced by the EBacc.

The EBacc does not have your typical grades, A* to C, but instead has percentages, so if you got half of the questions right, you would get 50% instead of a letter. The EBacc is coming into action to stop the 'dumbing down' of GCSEs and will get rid of coursework all together, replacing it with a large test at the end of two years. Less people will be allowed to resit their exams.

These plans will start taking place when this year's Y7's take their GCSEs and the first subjects that the EBacc will be used on are English, Maths and Science.

They have also scrapped plans to make a second exam for less academic children.

Police Killing Shocker!

Today in Tameside, 2 female unarmed police officers have died in a normal "routine" call out in Greater Manchester which has lead to the arrest of a man. PC Nicola Hughes, 23, and PC Fiona Bone, 32, suffered very fatal injuries. There were quite a few witnesses but one reported hearing
13 gunshots and then an explosion round about 11:00am.

Dale Cregan, 29, has been arrested for the suspicion of the murder of the police women and also with 2 previous murders, and when he was arrested when he stupidly walked into Hyde police station a very short time after the incident.
One of the police officers on the scene said that one of the officers died immediately whilst the other had serious injuries and died afterwards from them. The scene of the crime has been
cornered off and there are lots of police in the area.

Everyone says this has cast a long and dark grey shadow over greater Manchester and the thoughts of many people got to the families of the victims.

All About Cats

Cats can be a handful for some people. So to not be so stressed KEEP ON READING because you can learn more about cats with me.

First, don’t be fooled by their cuteness because they pretend to be harmless so they get milk and lots of treats.

Second, if you’re going shopping or somewhere DON’T LEAVE YOUR CAT alone because they will scratch your furniture and they might destroy your home!

Third, cats like to be stroked but they don’t like to be pulled on a leash because as you know they are not dogs.

Fourth, cats don’t like being stuck at home, they like to go outside by themselves so they can have some peace and quiet.

Fifth, your cat or cats need to go to the vet for a small check up every so often.

Sixth, sometimes your cat is going to be stuck up a tree (highly unlikely). So you don’t really have to worry about that because all you have to do is call the fire brigade. Although you could just get a ladder and do it yourself.

Seventh, all cats need food such as:
·       Water
·       Fish
·       Sometimes Mice
·       And milk

Eighth, as I said cats are not dogs so they don’t bring the food bowl to you, you need to know when to feed your cat so it doesn't starve.

Ninth, if you think all cats are cute, well you are wrong because some are skinny and that’s ugly for some people.

It's A Miracle!

A dog, named Hobo, found his way home after going missing in Cornwall.

Hobo was running up and down in the sand at Perranporth beach when he went missing.
No one could find any signs of the dog, and that made the owner think terrible things that could have happened. Fortunately Hobo somehow found his way home. He had to walk 11 miles to get there!

The owner is happy to see his dog again, safe and sound.
