My Fight - Anston Greenlands

By Rachel Dimbleby & Amber Allison (From Anston Greenlands School)

My school: Anston Greenlands has made a song called My Fight . “My Fight” is a single made to raise money for the charity “Warchild”. Warchild is a charity that supports nurses and children who have been affected by war.

We have placed this amazing single onto our school website so that you can watch the video at any time you want! Our school has also put My Fight on a series of different download sites like iTunes. Our music video can be found on Youtube as well.

Here is what Rachel and Amber wrote about their journey of producing the song...

It took two to three weeks to make starting with writing it all the way to filming it. First of all Y5 and Y6 came into the hall and got ourselves into groups of five or six. Our teacher can play the guitar so he showed us two chords to start with and we all had a vote of which one we liked best. We carried on doing the same thing until we got our tune. Next all the groups had to write down what lyrics they think should be in our song. The teachers picked out one from each group to start off with then chose some more. After we practiced singing altogether. Later we picked the small groups and solos and after two days of practicing, our teachers band member came in to help us with the backing track. Then he mixed all the different tracks together. Then we recorded it. About a day later we filmed all the small groups and solos. Then we filmed everyone singing the chorus and did some artwork for us to hold for the video. It took about two days to get on websites such as iTunes, YouTube and our school website.

Justin Bieber Booed?

Global megastar Justin Bieber was booed on stage after he made an appearance over two hours after he should have came on.

Many fans had to leave the concert at the O2 Arena to get home because it was a school night, those that stayed booed during the two-hour wait between the opening acts and Justin Bieber himself. Those boos turned to cheers when he came on.

Many fans were outraged as they paid around £90 for the tickets, only for them to leave early.

This happened in Nottingham as well as at the O2.

Justin has apologised.

Justin appears early on stage

The Bibster had arrived on stage early for his second song at the O2 arena in London on Tuesday.

People in the O2 arena told his fans that"We are happy to report Justin Biber had made it to the stage two minutes early this evening"

This is also a bad week for Justin Bieber as on Monday he came onto the stage two hours late and some of his fans left the show half way through so they can catch the train home.

Most of the crowd booed while they were waiting for him to appear on stage and they demanded for a refund.

When he got on stage he had to apologise for the delay telling his fans online that he was only 40 minutes late due to a technical problem.
